Poona Couplings started as a Joint, venture between Ashok Mulye and Holset Engineering co. ( Wholly owned subsidiary of Cummins USA ) to manufacture their entire range of flexible couplings (0.4 kN 600 kN). The company started commercial production in Sept, 86 and so far over 400,000 couplings have been supplied to satisfied customers all over the world. Holset's coupling Division was acquired by Renold PLC in UK in 1996.
Poona Couplings have been suppling Couplings world Wide Including UK, U.S.A .Europe. Australia etc.
The company is ISO 9001-2008 certified & ATEX for Couplings as well as anti 'Vibration mountings'.
• Design range is available upto 6000 kNm and dia 2200 mm.
• We also take pride in installing one of our largest coupling (PM 600) which transmits 600,000 Nm torque for a gold mine application in South Africa, which is successfully working for last two years. |
