Bung Processor

POWERTECH Processing of bungs (electrometric closures for drug containers) is of high concern since they play a significant role in the quality and life of the final product.

The need for correct processing technology is even more important considering the complexities in the compounding of the rubber used for the closures and the non-compliance to GMP by the manufacturers of the electrometric closures.

Constructional developments : 

Rotating carriage: Since uniformity of operation on the entire lot of bungs is critical, we have designed the rotating carriage that has a triangular cassette sections with perforated sides for hooking the bungs.

Sprinkling manifold: The machine is provided with sprinkling manifold arrangement over the rotating carriage that enables uniform sprinkling over the entire lot.

Fluidisation manifold: For rigorous fluidization in the processes of washing and rinsing, the Fluidization manifold causes turbulence in the water soaked bungs for effective cleaning.

Technique: 
The stages of bung processing that will be addressed will be loading, washing with detergent, rinsing ,siliconization , sterilization and drying.

 

   

Dry Heat Sterilizers



 POWERTECH MAKE Dry Heat sterilizers( HOT AIR STERILIZER) are made for sterilization of “empty vials, ampoules and bottles”, which can withstand a temperature upto 285°C 

Special Features 
• Class 100 hepa filter can be fitted inside and outside. The temperature variation inside the chamber will not be more than 5°C (Hottest Point & Coldest point).
• Special arrangement of baffles is made for the uniform distribution of air inside the chamber.
• Detachable motor with dynamically balanced impellers supported independently on heavy duty bearing.
• Incolloy tubular air heater 
• Uniform temperature distribution with the help of well designed adjustable baffle
• The trolley design is such that the loaded trolley can be pulled out easily at 65°C due to specially designed wheels.

Water for Injection System ( Multi Column Distilled Water Plant )

Water for Injection is used as a medium for majority of sterile preparations. Obviously it has to match the highest specifications as per the international standards of pharmaceutical world.

This translates to having a WFI generation system that is built to high sophistication level and strict process control to maintain WFI chemical parameters within the permissible limits.

Pure Steam Generator


 POWERTECH- pure steam generator is used to produce pyrogen free sterile steam for sterilization. 
It meets the IP/BP, USP, US FDA standards and is used for sterilization in fermentors, reactors, pipelines & autoclaves. It is also used for humidification of sterile area.

Operation :
D.M. Water is pre-heated in pre-heaters (2 – 3 Nos) before it passes to the main column where it gets converted into pure pyrogen free sterile steam by taking heat from boiler steam at 6 Kg/Cm2 pressure. It is provided with SS control valve for throttling the steam. 

Special Features :
•  Specially designed to produce sterile & pyrogen free steam @ 2.5 – 3 kg/cm2 (142°C). 
•   Double safety provided in the first column as boiler steam is present there. 
•   Provided with automatic control panel board with fault detection system.
•   All contact parts in SS 316 / SS 316 L quality. 
•   Sterile steam passes through LAL TEST. 
•   Available from 100 Kgs/Hr to 1000 Kgs/Hr.

Applications :
Large volume parenterals in glass containers, rigid or semi-rigid plastic, flexible plastic. Injectable products in plastic ampoules, syringe ampoules. Solution in plastic metering containers, in cans with flip-off or threaded closures.

These sterilizers are available in two types.
TYPE A – Automatic & laterally sliding with pneumatic cylinders. TYPE B – Semi automatic & laterally hinged type.

   
Super Heater Steam Sterilizer
The technology of super heater steam sterilizer was developed specifically for terminal treatment of solutions in closed flexible containers.

It was developed primarily to overcome the temperature-pressure restrictions of the conventional steam sterilizer, so as to counter act the effects of the overpressure which unavoidably forms inside containers when they are sterilized using conventional saturated-steam autoclaves. 
With several  years of technical expertise in the field of Sterilization and an unquenched thirst for innovation, our team of trained and dedicated Engineers has developed a product, which can comply with all international regulations like ASME, USFDA, EN285, ISO and HTM 2010.

SHWSS equipment is the most appropriate to meet these demands and can be used for a wide range of applications & With that it also performs load cooling with a sterile fluid, either water or air.

Rapid Mixer Granulator

 POWERTECH Rapid Mixer Granulator was developed in close co-operation with pharmaceutical and chemical industry. With the help of RMG wet sifting is generally no longer necessary. After the mixing of the dry components, subsequent wet granulation occurs (without transfer of dry mixture) producing loose granules in RMG. RMG is specially designed to meet the GMP requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

WORKING RINCIPLE
•  The RMG working principle is based on  decisive factors essential for the mixing systems. 
•   Spinning close to the bottom of the mixing bowl.
•  The impeller sets the entire mixture in a whirling-rising tumbling motion ensuring a quick and even distribution of all dry components which leads to an even distribution of all dry components which leads to an even wetting of every granule. The large lumps occurred during wet mixing are broken up, by the strategically located chopping tool rotating at 1440/2880 RPM.

The mix can be discharged with the impeller running through the outlet located on the side of the mixing bowl flush to the bottom. Easy accessibility for cleaning is guaranteed by the low profile. The mixing tool is easily removed from the drive shaft providing an unobstructed mixing area which may be cleaned very easily
   
Fluid Bed Dryer

The Fluid Bed Drying technique is deal for the rapid, even drying of chemical, pharmaceutical and food products. The material may be in granulater, power or crystalline form. Normally an initial moisture content upto 20%  Is ideal    but materials with higher initial moisture content can be dried successfully.

V Double Blender ( Octagonal Blender )

Multi Mill

Multimill is a self contained portable unit useful for high speed Granulating, Pulverising, Mixing, Shredding, Chopping etc.

A wide range of wet & dry materials without special attachments.

As compared to the four common principles of size reduction, this machine utilises the principle of variable force swing hammer blades having both knife and impact edges rotating with a carefully selected screen to control reduction. 

Flow path of material in vertical rotor machine is streamlined.

During comminuting, material entering the chamber travels to the periphery and passes through the screen tangentially and radially avoiding choking and rise in temperature.
